September and Suicide Awareness
If you do not already know, September is suicide awareness month. Honestly as many struggles that people have it should be made aware year round. I am working on a book signing in that month. I will post more details as I get everything together. I am very humbled by the ones that have reached out to me that have read my book. I will be honest, I have been so reclusive the last three years, so if I sound or appear awkward in my responses; I am. Some of you I have never met, and some I know well. But if it helps someone then I am happy. We do not think about the spiritual warfare going on that we cannot see, and it seems evil has reared its ugly head even higher. So, if you see someone struggling reach out if you can. If you feel uncomfortable in that area, pray for the direction you could guide them in. Send them to my blog link dawnearly.com and they can read some of my posts. Ask them to read the book, I promise it is open and raw, but it is real and offers hope. Remember the suicide hotline number is 988. But never stop praying for someone that struggles, whether it is situational or an ongoing mental disorder. I have seen both sides of the coin, being raised by a bipolar mother and my own situational struggles. There is always hope, even when we cannot see a way out. So, if you struggle reach out to someone, get counseling and never forget there are others out there that struggle. There is no shame in having a problem. The shame is how we treat mental health in the country.
